About Us

EDEM is a non-profit organization for Collective Management and Protection of Intellectual Property Rights on Musical Works.
Starting its operation in 2020, EDEM became a provisional member of the International Confederation of Societies of Authors and Composers (CISAC), in 2022 complying with international professional rules and standards.
At EDEM, we believe that ensuring fair remuneration for music creators is crucial for supporting music creation. Therefore, we observe closely all local and international developments concerning collective management, aiming to maximize our members’ income.

EDEM’s mission is to

» offer high quality rights management services to its members
» ensure the collection of royalties and fair distribution to the rightsholders
» promote music creation both in Greece and abroad

EDEM’s REPRESENTED REPERTOIRE

EDEM currently administers the rights of more than 4.400 rightsholders, representing a large and dynamic Greek repertoire as well as thousands of foreign music works through representation agreements with Greek sub-publishers.

EDEM’S REPERTOIRE ON INTERNATIONAL DATABASES

IPI SYSTEM

The registration of EDEM’s members in CIS-Net has been a top priority for EDEM and has been successfully completed. Following the signing of
the Membership Agreement with CISAC in 2022, EDEM proceeded with the registration of its members in the IPI Database in cooperation with
SUISA. This project was completed on May 24th, 2023 and since then, EDEM is regularly updating the IPI System directly, registering every new contract
it concludes with its members which have risen to 4.100.

CIS NET WID

EDEM has also concluded the required procedures regarding the sharing of its administered works with the rest of Societies and RME’s
by uploading its repertoire on Works Information Database.
