EDEM is a non-profit organization for Collective Management and Protection of Intellectual Property Rights on Musical Works.
\nStarting its operation in 2020, EDEM became a provisional member of the International Confederation of Societies of Authors and Composers (CISAC), in 2022 complying with international professional rules and standards.
\nAt EDEM, we believe that ensuring fair remuneration for music creators is crucial for supporting music creation. Therefore, we observe closely all local and international developments concerning collective management, aiming to maximize our members’ income.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

EDEM currently administers the rights of more than 4.200 rightsholders, representing a large and dynamic Greek repertoire as well as thousands of foreign music works through representation agreements with Greek sub-publishers.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

REPRESENTATION AGREEMENTS WITH FOREIGN CMOs<\/h4>\n

EDEM has signed unilateral representation agreements with foreign Collective Management Organizations and Collective
\nEntities for the representation of EDEM\u2019s repertoire in their territories:<\/p>\n

PRS for Music United Kingdom & Cyprus \/\/ SACEM & SACEM \/SDRM France \/\/ MESAM Turkey \/\/ SABAM Belgium \/\/ ACUM
\nIsrael \/\/ BMI USA \/\/ MLC USA \/\/ GEMA Germany whilst discussions with other CMOs for this purpose are in progress.<\/p>\n

New representation agreements are expected to be signed within 2026.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

EDEM\u2019S REPERTOIRE ON INTERNATIONAL DATABASES<\/span><\/h4>\n
IPI SYSTEM<\/span><\/h5>\n

The registration of EDEM\u2019s members in CIS-Net has been a top priority for EDEM and has been successfully completed. Following the signing of<\/span>
\nthe Membership Agreement with CISAC in 2022, EDEM proceeded with the registration of its members in the IPI Database in cooperation with<\/span>
\nSUISA. This project was completed on May 24th, 2023 and since then, EDEM is regularly updating the IPI System directly, registering every new contract<\/span>
\nit concludes with its members which have risen to 4.100.<\/span><\/p>\n

CIS NET WID<\/span><\/h5>\n

EDEM has also concluded the required procedures regarding the sharing of its administered works with the rest of Societies and RME\u2019s<\/span>
\nby uploading its repertoire on Works Information Database.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
